Description
The Golden Care Blonde Teak Beige-Washing Colour Protector gives teak an exclusive look: it changes brown teak into beige teak. It hides sapwood and slows down the weathering process.
Golden Care products are water-based and non-greasy. They do not contain hazardous VOCs, helping to provide better outdoor air quality compared to similar traditional care & cleaning products.
It is strongly recommended to treat the surface with Golden Care Hardwood & Teak Water-Repellent Shield to prevent stains after applying this protector.
Before using this product, eye protection and rubber gloves should be worn. Cover the ground under your work area before starting.
Before using this protector on new teak, put the furniture outside to weather for 4 to 8 weeks.
Before using this protector on dark grey teak, clean the wood with Golden Care Teak & Hardwood Cleaner & Colour Restorer. If cleaned wood feels rough, sand lightly before treating with Golden Care Hardwood & Teak White Wash.
Make sure the teak is 100% dry and free of dust.
Shake for at least one minute before use. Apply this protector with a soft cloth and allow to soak for at least 10 minutes.
Allow to dry for 4 hours and then apply a second coat of this protector. Let the teak dry for 24 hours before exposure to moisture.
It is recommended that you treat your teak furniture with this protector at least once every year.
